Entretejido is an observational-ethnographic film exploring the journey of Peruvian alpaca wool from Andean highland communities to global fashion runways. By weaving together the lives of artisans, herders, and fashion makers, the film examines how indigeneity is represented in ways that both challenge and perpetuate historical racism. Through a sensorial immersion into the textures of this supply chain, Entretejido reveals the deep entanglement of the objects we wear with national racial politics, histories, and the creation of luxurious surfaces.
